Born and raised in the Seattle area, Liz Tommasino was exposed to philanthropic work at an early age. Her mother had Liz assist her during her many years volunteering for the Seattle Symphony, the Women’s University Club, and the Red Cross early in her life. During college (University of Washington & University of Southern California), these values of “giving back” were only enhanced in her sorority, Delta Gamma, when she helped fundraise for Service for Sight.
Liz’s philanthropic journey continued with Delta Gamma after graduating with a B.A. in Exercise Science at USC. Liz volunteered as a Chapter advisor and later as co-founder/co-chair of the fundraiser “A Night for Sight”. In addition, Liz has held committee member and leadership roles with the Parkway School & Central Middle School PTAs, Dana’s Angels Research Trust, the Junior League of Greenwich, and the Greenwich Athletic Foundation.
Liz Tommasino has been known for “bringing people together” and being “extremely detail oriented”. She has always loved planning events and “doing good” for various charities.
As an International Fitness Professional, Liz found success working with professional and youth athletes off-season. She held several management positions at athletic clubs in the Seattle area and appeared on the fitness television show, “Cable Health Club” with “Buns of Steel” star, Tamilee Webb. Liz went on to be a host of “Crunch Fitness”, starred in the “Advanced Step & Slide” video, and started teaching and training fitness professionals internationally. Liz founded and produced “Northwest Fitness Revival”, the first regional fitness professional conference in the northwest. She also teamed up with other professionals to create “Northwest Fitness Tour”, where she produced and instructed masterclasses and workshops throughout cities and towns in 5 northwest states. During her almost 20 years in the fitness industry, Liz formed partnerships with Adidas, Avia, PowerBar, Power Music, Model Fitness, Webb International, the American Council on Exercise and the Aerobics & Fitness Association of America. After retiring from the fitness industry, Liz applied her leadership, marketing, and sales experience into other industries. Also being very tech savvy, Liz was contracted with 420 Bar & Lounge, All Season Protection Services, and best-selling parenting author, Nancy Samalin, to provide and update their digital presence on the internet, create promotional materials, brand recognition, and assist with event planning and production.
A resident of Greenwich, Connecticut since 2011, Liz founded “It’s All in the Details, LLC” during a global pandemic. Passionate about giving back, bringing people together for win-win situations, and supporting local businesses, she instinctively knew the timing was right to start planning and producing events in the community of Greenwich. Liz planned and produced the first annual Old Greenwich Market & Family Festival in Binney Park with great success. Excited community members attended in droves after 18 months of quarantine, mask-wearing, limited social engagements, and a lack of “normalcy” in their lives.
Liz continues to plan and produce various events in the Greenwich area from Pop-Up Art Exhibits, Shopping events, Festivals, Parties, and more. She has partnered with many local businesses and non-profit organizations to create unique experiences with a purpose. These include, but are not limited to: Greenwich Sentinel, InGreenwich, First Bank of Greenwich, Claudette, Upper Crust Bagel, O.G. Wine Merchants, Joe Studio Café, Greenwich Arts Council, and
